Top-up packs

Top-up packs are one-off purchases of additional identifications that cover short, mid-period spikes in traffic. They sit alongside your subscription — your monthly quota runs first, and top-up IDs are drawn down only once the monthly quota is exhausted.

Both packs can be purchased in multiples — at Stripe checkout you can adjust the quantity up to 50 packs in a single transaction (so up to 2,500 IDs from one purchase of the 50-pack, or 5,000 IDs from one purchase of the 100-pack).

There are no other top-up sizes. Larger amounts are bought as multiples of the 100-pack.


How top-up IDs are consumed

Each billing period, Warm AI draws identifications down in this order:

  1. Subscription quota — your monthly allowance from your current plan
  2. Top-up balance — any unused top-up IDs from prior purchases

Top-up IDs are only consumed once the subscription quota for the period reaches zero. They do not change your subscription tier or your billing cycle.

Top-ups are debited on the same basis as your subscription quota: 1 ID per company-level identification, 2 IDs per person-level (US visitor with LinkedIn URL + name + title) identification — see Subscription model → Person-level identification for the rationale.


Top-up IDs never expire

Top-up IDs roll over indefinitely across billing periods. Unused top-up IDs at period end carry forward to the next period without modification.

This is intentionally different from subscription quota, which expires at period end (see Subscription model — FAQ).


Who can buy top-up packs

Top-up packs are only available to accounts with an active subscription. Specifically:

  • Active subscribers (paid plans, status active): ✓ can buy top-ups
  • Trial accounts (no paid subscription): ✗ cannot buy top-ups — subscribe to a plan first
  • Cancelled / paused accounts (status canceled or past_due): ✗ cannot buy top-ups until the subscription is reactivated

This restriction applies to every purchase path: the in-app billing page, the dashboard quota banners, and the direct deep link (/billing?action=topup). A trial account that already holds top-up IDs from a previous subscription period can still consume those IDs once the trial ends (top-ups never expire), but cannot buy new packs without first reactivating a subscription.


When to buy a top-up versus upgrade your plan

Top-up packs are priced above the per-ID rate of every subscription tier. They exist for genuinely short mid-period spikes, not as a cheap way to scale.

If you are regularly buying top-ups in the same period, upgrading to a higher subscription band is materially cheaper:

  • The 51–100 tier (£119/mo, includes 100 IDs) costs £30 more than the 50-tier (£89/mo) but gives 50 more IDs every month. The equivalent in top-ups is £53 for one period only.
  • The 101–250 tier (£179/mo) gives 200 more IDs than the 51–100 tier for £60. The equivalent in top-ups is two 100-packs at £198 for one period only.
  • The pattern continues at every tier boundary — the tier upgrade is a recurring saving, the top-up is a one-shot premium.

The in-app dashboard will surface a tier-upgrade nudge after the second top-up purchase in a single billing period.


Refunds and reversals

Top-up purchases are non-refundable once the IDs are credited to your balance. If a purchase fails to credit due to a payment failure or processing error, contact support@getwarmai.com with your Stripe receipt — we will reconcile manually within one business day.

If you cancel your subscription, any unused top-up IDs remain on your account and can be redeemed against a future subscription (top-ups outlive the subscription that bought them). There is no cash refund for unused top-up balance.


Buying a top-up pack

  1. Sign in to your Warm AI account
  2. Open Settings → Subscription
  3. Click Buy top-up pack
  4. Select the 50-pack or 100-pack
  5. On the Stripe checkout screen, adjust the quantity if you want multiples
  6. Complete payment

The new IDs appear on your dashboard within a few seconds of payment completing. The “+N top-up IDs available” line in the header pill updates immediately.


Contract terms

These terms summarise the top-up policy in force at the time of purchase. Material changes to top-up pricing or eligibility are notified to active subscribers at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Prior purchases are unaffected — top-up IDs purchased under any earlier pricing retain their original credit value and roll-over rights.
